With an astounding 1.8 billion tons of plastic produced annually in the US, ReBlocks aims to contribute to recycling efforts by transforming all seven types of recycled plastic into versatile, slate-like building materials. As a building materials and manufacturing company, ReBlocks envisions a future with sustainable and affordable construction solutions made from 100% carbon-negative recycled materials.

The primary objective was to create a responsive website and campaign strategy that effectively communicates the founders' vision and promotes sustainable practices within the construction industry.

Laying the groundwork for a sustainable future

During the research phase, we assessed ReBlocks' existing website and conducted interviews with stakeholders and users, identifying key challenges such as a broad target market, lack of trust, and concerns regarding scalability and production times.

The prioritization matrix was crucial in guiding design decisions, helping identify untapped opportunities for ReBlocks to differentiate itself. This focus on strategic priorities led to the development of a user-centered, standout product in the sustainable materials and prefabricated construction industries.

Streamlining user flow

To enhance ReBlocks' user experience, we combined the task flow and user flow, ensuring a smooth and intuitive website navigation. By analyzing the task flow path and incorporating user decision points, we designed a seamless journey that guides users through the website with ease.

Transforming ideas into reality through rapid prototyping

In the design phase, our focus was to bring ReBlocks' vision to life through rapid prototyping. Keeping the product goals and requirements in sight, we initiated the ideation process with mid-fidelity wireframes. This allowed us to experiment with color schemes and images, ensuring a visually appealing and consistent design.

By adopting a systematic approach, we created multiple iterations for the one-page website that the client envisioned. Each new idea was explored by duplicating the frame and refining the design until we achieved the perfect balance of aesthetics, functionality, and storytelling.

Elevating ReBlocks' presence through enhanced brand identity

By leveraging Webflow for the development of ReBlocks' website, we were able to seamlessly transition from the final prototype to a fully functional and responsive site. This decision not only streamlined the development process but also ensured a consistent user experience across devices.

We delivered a polished and professional digital presence that effectively communicates the brand's mission and values. The final design serves as a solid foundation for ReBlocks' continued growth and success within the sustainable construction industry.
